AVTOVAZ RAMPS UP PRODUCTION. LADA SALES GREW IN JULY

As of July 2023, official LADA dealers in Russia sold 29,378 commercial vehicles and passenger cars of the Brand, which is the best result in 2023 and 5.5% higher than in June.
172, 996 LADA brand cars have been sold in Russia over 7 months of this year, which is twofold more than in the same period a year ago, when the Russian market was in the strongest crisis.
LADA Vesta NG sales start and active consumers’ interest in new models enabled positive growth dynamics. 5,133 cars of the Vesta family were sold over a month, which is 20,5% more than in June this year.
Other LADA brand models showed stable sales results as well. The Russian market bestseller LADA Granta was sold in the amount of 17, 170 units (+162.5% vs July last year). The July sales of the NIVA Legend amounted to 3, 375 cars and outstripped figures of July last year fourfold. 3, 397 NIVA Travel SUVs were sold in July 2023, which is sevenfold more than in July a year ago.
In July 2023 AVTOVAZ produced 31, 950 cars and car kits, which is the highest figure of monthly output since March 2022. The total car output growth over 7 months of 2023 vs the same period a year ago was 59%. Output of the LADA brand cars and car kits for 7 months of 2023 grew by 1.8 times, up to 160, 9K units (given that in early 2022 AVTOVAZ had produced foreign brand cars as well).
AVTOVAZ is going to increase output race of new cars in the coming months by accelerating the Line 1 (Vesta) up to 40 cars per hour and the Line 5 (Granta) up to 52 cars per hour. The Company confirms its plant to produce over 400K cars by the end of 2023.
