LADA INCREASED SALES BY 96% OVER THREE QUARTERS 2023

As of September 2023, 36, 231 passenger cars and commercial vehicles of the LADA brand were sold in Russia, which is 8,7% more than in August 2023 and is the best result throughout the last two years. LADA dealers in Russia have sold 242, 552 new cars for nine months that is 96% more than in the same period 2022
LADA Vesta has renewed sales maximum since March 2022 with 7, 301 cars sold. In total, 24, 381 LADA Vesta NG cars were sold since sales start.
The LADA Granta, the most popular and affordable car of the brand, was sold in the amount of 19, 913 units. This is a new record since production start (and 48.4% higher than in September 2022).
4, 070 NIVA Legend cars were sold in September, showing the best result since 2014. The NIVA Travel sales in September reached 4, 295 cars.
The Company keeps on increasing output rates of new cars. In spite of increased sanctions pressure, over 118K cars were produced in Q3 2023 that is 1.7 times higher than the output volume in Q2.
Commencing September 2023, all three production lines in Togliatti were switched to a maximum work rate. Comparing with August, car output in September grew by 17% (from 39, 891 to 46, 909 units). The current output enables to satisfy demand on the market and support stocks saturation of dealerships.
AVTOVAZ President Maksim Sokolov: “AVTOVAZ is now ready to support maximum work rate and non-stop production. Company’s direct entry in the sanctions list currently doesn’t have significant impact on our work although we can’t exclude appearing of secondary factors AVTOVAZ has no influence on - for example, the passage of foreign payments or steady supplies of materials and sub-components to our direct suppliers. We make every effort to mitigate these risks in the area of our competencies”.
