Dmitry Medvedev admired LADA XRAY after personal test-drive at AVTOVAZ
January 22 Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has tested LADA XRAY during his official visit to AVTOVAZ.
``I drove it and I liked it. Very comfortable and modern car that is not worse than any other similar vehicle made by foreign brands. I think it has a good future,`` – stated Russian Prime-minister his impressions after a few kilometers of a personal test-drive at AVTOVAZ territory. Mr Medvedev also had a live conversation with the workers on the working conditions topic and made a tour over the assembly line and engines and gearboxes plant.
The Head of the Russian Government was accompanied by the Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich and the President of JSC ``AVTOVAZ`` Bo Inge Andersson. After the test-drive Mr. Medvedev resided a meeting on the strategy of the Russian Automotive industry development until 2025 in the presence of federal and local officials and top-managers of almost all domestic car assembly plants belonging to the Russian and foreign brands.
LADA XRAY is a part of AVTOVAZ offensive product strategy the company is accomplishing in 2016. The car that will help change LADA brand perception will come on domestic sales on February 14, 2016.
