AVTOVAZ: LADA Largus is awarded THE CAR OF THE YEAR IN RUSSIA again
The high capacity station wagon LADA Largus was the first joint project of AVTOVAZ and Alliance Renault-Nissan. The production of these vehicles started April 4, 2012. For two years more than 110,000 LADA Largus cars were produced, about 100,000 passenger wagons, the rest commercial vans. On April 21, 2014 the one hundred thousandth car of the family is sold in Russia. For today LADA Largus is the most popular wagon in domestic market. It takes 6th place in the general rating of car sales. AVTOVAZ offers 12 variants of LADA Largus passenger wagons and vans. The recommended retail price of this family starts from 354 thousand rubles (''standard'' van FS015- 40 -000).
LADA Largus van is the budget segment car of LCA class. This is new and important niche for AVTOVAZ. LADA Largus launching allowed the company not only to expand its product range, but also to attract new customers in this segment.
At the award ceremony the president of AVTOVAZ Bo Andersson said: ''The partnership with Alliance Renault-Nissan helps us a lot in modernization and family upgrading. The main task for us is to develop cars suitable to LADA owners. And we have to stay competitive in our segment.''
